OMAR RASHID

My journey started in Egypt when I was just 7 years old, and I fell in love with art. I experimented with different tools and canvases to bring my imagination to life. My fascination with 2D art on 3D surfaces led me to explore the intricacies of graffiti art, which eventually inspired me to pursue a career in graphic design. As I became more interested in creating tangible products that could change the way people interact with their environment, I ventured into industrial design.

As someone who values education and the pursuit of knowledge, I decided to enroll in the User Experience graduate certification program at Humber College in Toronto. This opportunity allowed me to integrate my experiences in Graphic Design, Business, and User Experience Design to create innovative products and experiences using human-centred design principles. Now, I am able to design products that cater to both the business's needs and the user's needs, improving their overall experience.

Today, my work brings together art, brand design, UX thinking, business understanding, and creative leadership. I currently lead a creative team supporting high-volume brand and marketing work, and I’m actively exploring how tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, and Claude can support ideation, visual variation, workflow automation, and better creative systems. I’m interested in AI not as a replacement for human creativity, but as another tool to help designers think, test, refine, and build with more range.
